Our mission
Liam's Call (liamscall.com) exists for one reason: to make sure no caregiver or family member facing a mental health, addiction, or housing challenge has to face it alone. We believe that accessible, judgment-free support — available at any hour, without a waitlist or a co-pay — can make a real difference in people's lives.
We built Liam's Call as a safe starting point: a free AI web chat where you can put words to what you are feeling, find crisis resources in one place, and take a breath before deciding what to do next. We are not a click-to-call widget company, not an AI phone receptionist, and not a marketing or email platform — we focus only on caregiver and family wellbeing in Canada and the United States.
Who we are
Liam's Call is a mental health technology project focused on caregiver and family wellbeing. We are a small team with a deep personal connection to the challenges of caregiving — many of us have navigated the mental and emotional weight of supporting a loved one through illness, aging, or crisis.

How the AI works
Liam's Call uses various AI models and a knowledge base guardrail to have supportive, open-ended conversations. The AI is specifically guided to respond with warmth and care to caregiving challenges, emotional distress, and questions about mental health, addiction and housing support resources. It is multilingual and can detect and engage in your preferred native language/s.
Important: Liam's Call is a support tool, not a clinical service. The AI is not a therapist, counsellor, or medical professional. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace professional mental health care. Our commitment to safety
- The AI is trained to recognize crisis language and always direct users to emergency services and crisis lines first.
- We do not store your chat messages beyond your session. Conversations are not used to train AI models.
- We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal data.
- We continuously review AI responses and update our safety guidelines as standards evolve.
